Everyone is invited to an awards event on Sunday afternoon, April 13, 2008, in Faneuil Hall, Boston. Winners of the League's 9th Annual Online Student Essay Contest will read their essays from the podium of historic Faneuil Hall. Those receiving Honorable Mention will receive certificates and recognition at the awards ceremony at Faneuil Hall. The Educational Grants will be awarded to the teachers. The event is free and open to the public. All students, parents, family, friends, teachers, administrators, and others are invited to attend.
