Advocacy 101 for Local Leagues

January 27 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

How can your local League take action at the local, state, and national levels on issues that matter? How do you advocate on national issues? What are the guidelines for working on state bills? When can your League weigh in on town warrant articles or city council petitions? Do you need to conduct a study?

Join us on Tuesday, January 27, at 7:00 PM via Zoom for Advocacy 101 for Local Leagues featuring Khadija Ali Amgaiab, Legislative and Policy Coordinator for the League of Women Voters of the US (LWVUS). Whether you are a new or a longstanding member, this can’t-miss program promises to answer all of your questions.

Let’s show LWVUS how LWVMA shows up! We had great turnout for this event in 2022 and 2024. We hope members from every local League will join us. Register HERE.
