July 17 Good Trouble Lives On

LWVUS is a national partner organization for Good Trouble Lives On July 17. Local Leagues are welcome to organize and/or attend community events to maximize local impact. Coined by civil rights leader Congressman John Lewis, “Good Trouble” is the action of coming together to take peaceful, non-violent action to challenge injustice and create meaningful change.

Five years since the passing of Congressman John Lewis, communities across the country will act to carry forward his fight for justice, voting rights, and dignity for all. Check out the map to find a local event near you. Don’t see an event nearby? Consider hosting your own using THIS TOOLKIT. Training sessions are scheduled for July 3, and July 10—all at 7:00 PM Eastern. Questions? Email lwvma@lwvma.org.
