LWV 100 Years

The 100th anniversary of the 19th Amendment and the founding of the League of Women Voters of the United States and the Massachusetts League offers an opportunity for local Leagues to remember and learn from the past, showcase their accomplishments, increase appreciation for the mission of LWV, focus on current issues, and celebrate!

LWVMA Says Cheers to 100 Years
Celebrating our past. Shaping our future.

LWVMA is thrilled to honor this important milestone by celebrating virtually with all of you on December 13th at 1:00pm. Please join us as we host a fabulous fireside chat featuring Dr. Danielle Allen, James Bryant Conant University Professor at Harvard who is widely known for her work on justice and citizenship.  We will also be honoring Pam Wilmot, Executive Director of Common Cause Massachusetts, for her outstanding work to improve democracy in Massachusetts.

But wait…there’s more! We have a few surprises in store! We’ve created an unparalleled event full of special moments that will make you want to raise a glass to celebrate our past and look forward to our future.
