TEAM CIVIC PACERS
The 2026 Boston 10K for Women’s 50th Anniversary
Presented by the League of Women Voters of Massachusetts and our sister fund, the Lotte E. Scharfman Memorial Fund
Thank You, Civic Pacers!
On Saturday, October 10, Team Civic Pacers took to Boston Common for the 50th Anniversary of the Boston 10K for Women, and what a day it was. Runners and walkers from local Leagues across Massachusetts came together to set the pace for civic participation.
Meanwhile, on the Common, League volunteers registered and assisted voters, offering voter service to thousands of fellow runners and walkers. Every mile our teammates covered raised funds for LWVMA’s voter education work and year-round college internship program.
To everyone who ran, walked, donated, cheered, and sponsored: thank you. You helped us show that democracy is not a spectator sport.
There is still time to give! Cheer on a teammate by making a donation to Team Civic Pacers and help us keep supporting civic education, youth leadership, and LWVMA’s college interns.
