The Westwood, Walpole, and Dedham League hosted a forum for the candidates for the 11th Norfolk District seat in the Massachusetts House of Representatives. Candidates also addressed questions about the three ballot questions.

The League moderated a forum for the candidates for the Cape and Islands District seat in the Massachusetts State Senate and the 9th Congressional District seat in the U.S. House of Representatives.
Ballot Questions (10/15)
The Springfield Unit of the Northampton League presented two ballot question forums. The voter service forum on Ballot Question 1 (Nurse-Patient Assignment Limits) featured a speaker from the Massachusetts Nurses Association on the “yes” side and a speaker from the Protect Patient Safety Coalition on the “no” side. The advocacy forum featured speakers advocating for a yes vote on Ballot Question 2 (Advisory Commission for Amendments to the U.S. Constitution Regarding Corporate Personhood and Political Spending Initiative) and Ballot Question 3 (Gender Identity Anti-Discrimination Veto Referendum). Springfield Unit Convener Linda O’Connell moderated.
