The Leadership Giving Council of the League of Women Voters of Massachusetts (LGC) is a diverse group of individuals of all ages, ethnicities, and backgrounds. Its purpose is to support the mission and vision of the League of Women Voters of Massachusetts (LWVMA) by creating a vibrant subset community committed to the organization’s long-term sustainability
How it works:
Membership is open to individuals who donate an annual gift of $1,000 or more. The intent is that this regular and generous giving will provide LWVMA with a constant and secure cash flow. Please contact Susan Garvey, sgarvey@lwvma.org for more information.
Involvement:
Membership includes an invitation to an annual event which LWVMA will convene, providing LGC members an opportunity to keep apprised of the organization’s accomplishments and challenges.
Members will have options regarding how little or how much they want to be involved, including, but not limited to, as contributor, volunteer, event planner, or guest speaker.
Most importantly, members of the LGC are considered LWVMA’s top ambassadors. They help to build a broader and more impactful sense of community for LWVMA through their name recognition, social circles, and outreach efforts.
