Challenges of Redistricting in Massachusetts in 2021

Will Brownsberger, Senator from the Second Suffolk and Middlesex District of Massachusetts, will speak on the Challenges of Redistricting in Massachusetts in 2021 at the League of Women Voters of Lexington First Friday forum on January 7, 2022 at 9:30 AM, a virtual presentation. Presenting an intellectual road map for redistricting, he will address the elements that contribute to a better representation of constituencies.

Senator Brownsberger is President pro tempore of the Senate and has represented his district which includes Belmont, Watertown, and parts of Boston in the State Senate since 2012. Before that he was a State Representative from 2007-2012.  He serves as Chairperson of the Senate Committee on Redistricting, on the Senate Committee on Bills in the Third Reading, and on the Senate Committee on Rules and the Joint Committee on Rules.

This program is the fourth in the 2021-2022 First Friday Forum series hosted by the League of Women Voters to promote awareness and understanding of public policy issues.
