Democracy at Risk with author Nancy MacLean
The Unitarian Universalist Church and the League of Women Voters of Marblehead are co-sponsoring a discussion entitled “Democracy at Risk” with author Nancy MacLean on September 11th at 7:00 p.m. Nancy MacLean is the writer of the award-winning book Democracy in Chains that examines the strategic campaign of the radical right to dismantle our government, eliminate unions, suppress voting, privatize education, stop action on climate change, and alter the Constitution. This promises to be an extremely informative program bringing renewed attention to the corrosive influence of money in our political system.
