October Scharfman Fund Grant Application Deadline

The Scharfman Fund Grants are a great resource for local programming around citizen education. Think candidates’ nights, issues forums, civics programs, town meeting guides.  Individual Leagues can submit grants for up to $300 and two Leagues can collaborate on a project and request up to $600.

Past grants have included a variety of approaches to citizen education: art exhibits focused on the contributions of women in government, materials for civic education in the schools, housing forums, voter registration activities. Click here for more information and grant guidelines.
