About Me:

Education & Training

Celia is the Training Director for Rank the Vote, educating, connecting, training, and supporting activists and organizers to build grassroots movements for ranked choice voting – many of whom are members of statewide organizations she launched during the pandemic. She works in close contact with national organizations and leaders in democracy reform to dialogue with election administrators, elected officials, and people of all backgrounds and points of view to explore ways to make our democracy work for all of us.

Prior to working in election reform, Celia was a Project Manager and Technical Communicator. She worked in IT, specializing in end-to-end project development processes and financial records and reporting compliance, and in Operations at Iron Mountain, establishing a large disaster recovery system and providing internal documentation to multiple departments.

Celia holds a degree in Linguistics and Russian from Macalester College and studied Piano Pedagogy at the New England Conservatory of Music, subsequently teaching private lessons in addition to her corporate career. She serves as Chair of the Hull Board of Library Trustees and Clerk of Hull No Place for Hate, organizing public events and educational forums to foster community and understanding of our differences. A member of her local League Advisory Committee, she has facilitated webinars and established a municipal candidate forum. She enjoys playing piano and guitar, making fiber creations from sheep to shawl, and engaging voters and potential voters for more inclusive, representative, and civil elections.
