LWVUS Federal Judiciary Study

How can the League advocate around the Supreme Court? LWVUS Convention voted overwhelmingly to conduct a study of the federal judiciary to develop a position that will be voted on  at the LWVUS Council in June 2025. The study scope includes addressing concerns and clarifying judicial accountability, transparency, independence and ethics of the US Supreme Court as well as the other Article III federal courts.  Local Leagues are urged to participate in this relevant and timely study by holding consensus meetings before April 14, 2025.
